Additional Skills

  • Through my work experience at the above mentioned organisations I have attained an extensive degree of knowledge in the area of computing.  Naturally I am a touch-typist; I have a solid understanding of the common Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), not to mention good knowledge Microsoft's Windows 98, and Windows NT operating systems. 

  • Having lived in Switzerland for a number of years has also granted me good German oral skills.

  • I also have a full driving license and my own car.  

Interests

  • Enjoy analysing, and selecting listed companies in which to invest  funds. 

  • Enjoy working with, and experimenting with computers in my spare time. 

  • Enjoy mountain biking, a sport which I actively pursued during all my years in Switzerland.  I also enjoy skiing and was involved in the ski-team of my school during my junior year.  Another sport which I enjoy during my weekends and free time is Golf.

[1]Advanced Placements (or AP’s as they’re more commonly known) are basically the American equivalent  of the A-level. They are actually first year college courses which students can take whilst still in High School.  By taking these exams in school an American student can obtain college credits for the AP's taken (and passed successfully), and thereby possibly reduce the number of years the student must spend in college.  The AP's are graded on a scale of 1 to 5, 5 being the equivalent of an A, and 1 the equivalent of an E.  More information concerning AP’s can be found on the College Board Web Page,
